PBAT is a kind of thermoplastic biodegradable plastics, which is a copolymer of butylene adipate and butylene terephthalate. With characteristics of PBA and PBT, it has good ductility and elongation at break, good heat resistance, and excellent biodegradability. Through the metabolism of microorganisms or enzymes, it can be decomposed into oxygen-containing compounds such as carbon dioxide and water in a nature environment. It is known as environment-friendly polyester.
