Corona treatment machines are widely used in the plastic packaging industry to increase the surface tension of plastic films before printing and lamination.
On a multilayer blown film extruder, at least 42 dynes must be achieved. If the material is stored for a longer period of time before being used for printing/laminating, a higher level of processing is required, sometimes as high as 48 dyne. This requires our multiple discharge electrodes to achieve a high level of corona treatment. The corona treatment device adopts the functions of IGBT switch, zero-speed cut-off, cylinder opening/closing, fault display, ozone exhaust, safe closed electrode system, and partial treatment of segmented electrodes. Corona is also equivalent to an artistic coating.
